These Terms govern your use of Paytap services provided by DriveTap Innovation India Pvt. Ltd. ("Paytap"). By using the Services you agree to these Terms.
1. Service description
Paytap provides NFC-enabled vehicle payment tags, a Prepaid Payment Instrument (PPI) wallet issued in partnership with RBI-authorized PPI partners, a mobile app, a business control dashboard and (where applicable) virtual cards.
2. Eligibility
- You must be 18 years or older.
- You must complete the KYC required by our PPI partner under RBI rules.
- You must use the Services only for lawful business purposes.
3. Wallet limits
Per RBI PPI guidelines:
- Min KYC wallet: up to ₹10,000 outstanding balance.
- Full KYC wallet: up to ₹2,00,000 outstanding balance.
4. Fees
- Tag issuance fee is included in your plan price.
- An Annual Maintenance Charge (AMC) applies after the first year, as disclosed at checkout.
- Other applicable charges (e.g. replacement tags) are disclosed in the app and on the dashboard.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to use the Services to:
- Engage in any prohibited transactions under RBI guidelines.
- Conduct money laundering, terrorism financing or fraud.
- Resell, sublicense or misuse the tag or wallet.
- Disrupt or compromise the security of the Services.
6. Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Paytap and its PPI partners are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages. Paytap's aggregate liability under these Terms shall not exceed the fees paid by you in the preceding 12 months.
7. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify Paytap against any claim arising from your breach of these Terms, misuse of the Services or violation of law.
8. Account closure
You may close your account at any time via a 2-step process: (1) clear or refund your wallet balance; (2) submit a closure request from the app or by emailing support@paytap.co.in. Refunds reach your source account in 7–10 business days.
9. Dispute resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts at Bengaluru, Karnataka shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of or in connection with the Services.
